Singer, entertainer and broadcaster Muriel O Connor is recognised by her peers and audiences alike as one of the great Irish entertainers. In recent times she has been an award recipient at The Sunday World Music Awards, picked up the Female Entertainer of The Year Award from The Farmer’s Journal as well as multiple awards from several local radio stations. The Muriel O Connor stage show is legendary with Muriel always giving one hundred per cent to every performance.

She has recorded four albums and has enjoyed airplay hits with songs such as Hillbilly Rock, Whatever You Say Say Nothing and Waltzing an Angel.  However it was the duet ‘Something Blue’ that took the radio world by storm with the song being one of the most played Irish Songs throughout 2015.

The new album is called ‘Muriel’s World’ and contains all the hits including Something Blue as well as Irish favourites such as The Leaving of Liverpool and The Best Part of the Day.

On stage Muriel is as comfortable with the music of Tammy Wynette and Dolly Parton as she is with Tina Turner and Karen Carpenter and Irish classics.
